Painting teaser

Just finished a new painting that's going to be auctioned for a prostate cancer charity alongside 10 other artist's work. The pieces will all be shown in February before the auction at Bonhams in London. More info to follow and a full shot of the piece when I get a photo better than my blurred camera phone effort. This detail shot came out ok though!

p.s. I must look for some new subject matter aside from guitars, banjos and synths!

Camera Obscura

I was given a camera obscura kit recently (thanks Fern & Joe) and a human skull kit (tidy Robin). Made sense to try and combine the two in some way. Spooky!

John Fahey

Having a bit of Fahey start to the year musically, watching the Rockpalast gig on youtube and marvelling at his playing AND his epic combover. Search for Poor Boy Long Way From Home for the business. Felt I had to draw a picture of him and feel a little series of drawings of my fave musicians coming on...his guitar's a little on the wee side but it's in pen, give me a break!

New lino print teaser

Here's a test print of a new lino cut print I'm going to be putting onto my ebay shoppe over the coming month. It's a Little Bittern/human mutant playing the soprano uke (like they do!). On A5 card, hand cut and printed. Get twitching.

Post Birthday Thanks

Thanks to all of you that came down for my big birthday last night, you all made it the beast one yet. Big thanks to Paul and Deke at The Three Kings and Graham, Doug, Max, Godsy and Lee for playing some great records.
